FlowPainting#0043 is based on a painting on paper made with the still fresh paint of the XXL matrix painting realised during the performance Presence painting n° 45. This performance is a new type of portrait in the form of an assemblage work combining an XL matrix painting, a series of paintings on paper, photos of the model and a video of the session. At each performance session James invites a model and made a large painting.
